Heretic Links

was presented at

the Richard Hugo

House on Seattle’s

Capitol Hill from

August 11-26, 2006.

Inquisition-era Catharina Linck adopts male dress, repeatedly enlists and deserts from the army, marries an unsuspecting woman, and begs alms from a vast array of churches…

After provoking the ire of her “mother-in-law,” watch how she faces Inquisitorial venom!  When rebellion meets state religion, how long can the fun continue?

Heretic Links is written by Roxanne Ray and directed by Teresa Thuman, and features the performing talents of Kayti Barnett, Louise Penberthy, Jenny Schmidt, Jessica Stepka, Yvette Zaepfel, and Amber Zipperer, as well as the design talents of Regan deVictoria, Katie Lawrence, Michael Mowery, and Bruce Wheelock, plus Chryste Call as Stage Manager, Amanda Askea as Production Team member, and Tim Crist as House Manager, with poster design and photography by Ken Holmes.  Thanks to all who joined us to see freedom meet fantasy in this exploration of a true German Inquisition court case!
